Controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan has said he is currently with more than 200 people who allegedly lost money in a disputed transaction involving TMT Travels and Tours.

In a statement shared online, VeryDarkMan said the alleged victims would be taken to a police station to formally document their complaints and submit evidence of their transactions.

“This morning, I have over 200 people here who were sc@med by TMT Travels and Tours,” he said.

According to him, the victims will be required to write statements and tender payment receipts and other transaction records relating to TMT Travels and Tours before the police.

VeryDarkMan also alleged that an individual contacted him and asked him to stop pursuing the matter online.

He claimed that he responded by demanding ₦200 million, saying the money would be used to begin settling the alleged victims.

The activist’s intervention has drawn attention on social media, with the number of people reportedly gathered around the matter generating fresh calls for authorities to investigate the allegations and establish what happened to the money paid by the complainants.

The allegations against TMT Travels and Tours and Ifeanyi Onukwubiri have not been established by a court, and the accused parties should be given an opportunity to respond to the claims.

The police are expected to determine the circumstances surrounding the complaints after reviewing the statements, receipts and transaction records reportedly being submitted by the alleged victims.
