Popular Nigerian social media personality VeryDarkMan has sparked widespread reactions online after criticizing the government and expressing fears about the safety of Nigerians.
In a strongly worded statement shared on social media, VeryDarkMan said he was prepared to face possible consequences from the Department of State Services (DSS) for speaking out about the country’s security situation.
“I don’t care if the DSS come for me for saying this but Nigerians stop listening to the government, they don’t care about us. Make sure you protect yourself,” he said.
The social media critic warned that Nigerians should remain vigilant, claiming that citizens are increasingly vulnerable to attacks regardless of religion or background.
“We are all just one event away from RIP in this country. We’re no different from animals, we are no longer safe. These people can attack anytime be you Christian or Muslim,” he added.
VeryDarkMan also urged people to stay cautious as the Easter season approaches, noting that large gatherings during the period could potentially expose citizens to security risks if proper vigilance is not maintained.
