What Are They Hiding? — Kemi Olunloyo Questions Exclusive NTA Feed at Buhari’s Burial

Buhari’s Burial

Veteran journalist and media personality, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, has taken to social media to raise serious questions over the restricted broadcast of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s burial.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Olunloyo criticized the federal government’s decision to allow only the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to cover the funeral proceedings, effectively sidelining all other media houses who had to plug into the official feed.

“Every other station was simply rebroadcasting what NTA allowed. Even Arise News admitted they were on a feeder. Their reporter was not near the graveside but kept with the dignitaries. Clearly, something was being hidden from the public,” she wrote.

Olunloyo went further to draw parallels to the 2017 incident when First Lady Aisha Buhari was seen stepping off a plane in tears after returning from London. “Only NTA interviewed her back then too. Hope the President didn’t die eight years ago,” she said, alluding to long-standing rumors that Buhari may have passed away during his prolonged medical leave in the UK and was replaced by a lookalike.
