The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has taken a swipe at Aisha Yesufu following her loss in the NDC senatorial primary for the FCT.
Wike, in a viral remark, referenced her past criticism of him, saying she had described him as an “appointee of government” with no relevance to elected politics.
He said it was easy for people to make bold statements on television, but reality becomes different when they test political processes.
According to him, “There’s one woman who said Wike is an appointee of government and that she has no business with appointees. You speak grammar, ordinary primary of NDC, what happened?”
