Nigerian activist and media personality Stanley Ontop has expressed his displeasure over Regina Daniels’ recent visit to her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
Stanley, who had publicly supported Regina during her marital issues with Ned, said he was disappointed that she visited him without informing those who stood by her during the dispute.
In a series of emotional videos, he said the development had left him feeling embarrassed after he allegedly faced backlash and nearly got arrested over his involvement in the matter.
“I was there for you. I was called names, almost went to prison, now you went to settle with your oppressor,” he said.
Although Regina’s sister, Destiny, had clarified that the actress was only granted a visit to see her children and remained single, Stanley questioned the circumstances surrounding the visit.
He said he had involved activists, bloggers and other people in supporting Regina and had assured them that she would not return to Ned.
According to him, he was particularly upset because he was not informed about the visit and subsequently had to answer questions from the people he had brought into the matter.
“I am making this video so that everybody will know that I am not aware. I don’t give consent,” he said.
Stanley eventually said the situation had taught him a lesson and vowed not to interfere in marital disputes again.
“This is the last time I will put my mouth in any husband and wife matter,” he said, advising others to stay out of couples’ personal affairs.
