NDLEA declares ex-beauty queen, Aderinoye wanted over drug trafficking

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has identified a former beauty queen, Ms Aderinoye Queen Christmas (also known as Ms Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye), as being involved in the trafficking of illegal substances.

In a statement released on Sunday by Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, it was revealed that the suspect had been Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Culture 2015/2016 and the founder of the Queen Christmas Foundation.

During a search conducted by estate officials, 606 grams of Canadian Loud (a synthetic strain of cannabis), an electronic weighing scale, various drug packaging materials, a black RAV 4 SUV (Lagos KSF 872 GQ), and a picture frame were recovered from her home.

Additionally, the NDLEA announced the arrest of two members of an international drug trafficking syndicate the following day, Thursday, January 25th.

The individuals in question are Sunday Michael Owoborode (52 years old) and Valentine Anene.

It was reported that Valentine was being prepared for an overseas trip by the syndicate when they were apprehended in Edu Orita, Ogun state.

According to the statement, 1.8kg cannabis, electronic weighing scale and other illicit substances were found on them at the time of their arrest.
