Civil Society Holds Rally, Urges FG To Review Pipeline Security Contracts

Civil society members on Wednesday convened at Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota, Lagos, for a rally addressing security concerns, and livelihood issues, and urging the Federal Government to reassess pipeline security and surveillance contracts.

They were seen carrying placards with inscriptions like, “Stop violence, oil bunkering”, “Defend Itsekiri from exploitation”, “NNPC, stop your deal with militants”, and “Treat us with respect”.
