In a dramatic turn of events, a group of aggrieved housewives in Asaba, Delta State, took to the streets to protest against women they accuse of being “husband snatchers” and “side chics”. The protesters, clad in black attire, marched through the city, carrying placards and chanting slogans decrying the alleged practices of these women.
The protest has drawn attention to the issues of infidelity and relationship conflicts in the community, with many calling for greater respect for marriages and committed relationships. The demonstrators demanded an end to what they termed “homebreaking” and “marriage destruction”.
