Onitsha Road Users Celebrate as Senator Nwoye Oversees Major Rehabilitation Project

Road Users, Rural Settlers and Residents of Onitsha 33- Nwafor Orizu College – Umueri Road Onitsha North and Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State have experienced relief, as Dr Tony Nwoye inspected the recent rehabilitated Federal Road linking the major towns and communities in the area.

The road rehabilitation, which was facilitated by the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Dr Tony Nwoye, was sequel to the intervention of the senator as fulfilment of his promise to His Constituents who brought his attention to the deplorable state of the road on the Blue App, X. One of X users, Mr Ifeanyi Ogbaji and many others brought the attention of the Senator over the state of the road and the nightmare it causes the road users and Residents.

The road rehabilitation was handled by the Federal Ministry of Works through its agency, Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

While speaking on the economic importance of the road project, Senator Tony Nwoye said the rehabilitated road project would enhance transportation of agricultural products from farm to markets, and also enhance economic activities in the area.

Senator Dr Tony Nwoye promised to install Solar Lights along the road.

Appreciating Dr Tony Nwoye for facilitating the project, many of Keke drivers and road users said the since road has been rehabilitated, it has reduced hardship being faced by motorists and commuters on the road. Many of them thanked Dr Tony Nwoye for his quick intervention. Many of the roads praised the Senator for the good representation at the Senate. That they are happy with him.
