The Chief Executive Officer of 44 Clothing, who was earlier reported missing, has reportedly returned home safely, according to a fresh update shared by Harrison Gwamnishu.
Gwamnishu, who said he was on the ground in Lagos following developments surrounding the disappearance, announced the news in an update, expressing relief over her safe return.
According to him, her brother and a friend confirmed the development during a video call with him.
“44 Clothing is alive and has safely returned home,” Gwamnishu stated, adding that she would explain to the police what transpired during the period she was reported missing.
The development comes amid widespread concern on social media over her disappearance and reports concerning a body allegedly found in the Lagos area.
However, Gwamnishu clarified that the identity of the body found has not yet been established, stressing that it remains unclear whether it is connected to the missing clothing entrepreneur.
He appealed to members of the public who have female relatives missing to visit Bonny Police Station in Lagos to report their cases and assist the authorities in identifying the recovered body.
The appeal comes as questions remain over the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The safe return of the 44 Clothing CEO is expected to provide some relief to her family, friends and concerned members of the public who had been following developments surrounding her disappearance.
Meanwhile, further details about what transpired during her absence are expected to emerge as the police engage with her.
As of the time of this report, the identity of the body found and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unconfirmed.
Akelicious will continue to monitor developments and provide updates as more verified information becomes available.
