Harrison Gwamnishu has provided a fresh update on the disappearance of Evelyn, the chief executive officer of 44 Clothing, following reports that a body was found around Bonny Camp in Lagos State.
Gwamnishu disclosed that he had engaged divers and boat operators to help retrieve the body discovered in the area, adding that the police were now fully involved in the investigation.
He, however, clarified that the trending video circulating on social media was not confirmed to be that of the missing fashion entrepreneur.
In an earlier update, Gwamnishu said he received a video showing a body reportedly found the previous day after making a post about Evelyn’s disappearance.
According to him, his team had arrived at the scene and commenced a search for the body to establish the facts surrounding the report.
He stressed that the identity of the body had not been established and urged members of the public to avoid jumping to conclusions.
Gwamnishu also appealed to anyone with useful information or those around Bonny Camp, Federal Palace Hotel, Atlantic House and adjoining areas in Lagos to contact the team.
He expressed hope that Evelyn would be found safely and called on the public to continue sharing information that could assist the search.
