Prominent investigative journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, has shed more light on the ongoing crisis between actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Prince Ned Nwoko, claiming that the actress is battling serious substance abuse issues.
In a revelation posted online, Olunloyo stated that she personally spoke with Nwoko, who expressed deep concern over his wife’s deteriorating health and erratic behaviour, allegedly fueled by drug use.
“I just spoke to Ned Nwoko. Regina Daniels takes drugs and her health is compromised. She abuses substances to the point she doesn’t know what she’s doing anymore,” Olunloyo quoted Nwoko as saying.
According to her, Nwoko disclosed that Regina’s addiction has worsened, to the extent that she behaves irrationally and experiences bouts of aggression.
“Gina thinks the substance makes her happy, but she needs help,” the journalist added.
Olunloyo further alleged that Nwoko recounted a disturbing incident where Regina reportedly filmed him while he was urinating, an act he believes happened while she was under the influence.
The journalist also confirmed Nwoko’s earlier claims that he was not at home on the day Regina allegedly went on a rampage, assaulting staff and damaging property.
“Ned told me he wasn’t at home on Friday when Gina came with Sammy and made the viral video where she got physical with multiple staff and destroyed several cars,” Olunloyo said.
She noted that Nwoko maintains he has never been violent towards Regina and insists that she needs urgent medical intervention.
“Ned says Regina needs to go to the hospital and get help. He is willing to stand by her side,” Olunloyo revealed.
