Celebrity barman and businessman, Cubana ChiefPriest, has announced his return to his hometown in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State after five years away, expressing gratitude that many of his people and their properties are still intact despite the challenges the area has faced.
In a video message shared on his social platforms, he declared that peace has returned to Orsu, praising the Federal Government, Imo State Government, security agencies, and local vigilante groups for restoring calm in the previously troubled region.
Cubana Chief Priest said he would be spending Christmas and New Year in Orsu this year and encouraged indigenes of the community to also return home for the festivities. He promised a grand celebration, saying he would provide food, drinks, entertainment, and other items to ensure a memorable festive season.
He lamented the lack of basic amenities in his community such as good roads, schools, healthcare, markets, and power despite his access to top government officials, business leaders, and international personalities. He assured his people that the time for rebuilding had come under the “Renewed Hope” era.
According to him, the reconstruction, recovery, and rehabilitation of Orsu must begin collectively, noting that he has “everything needed” to support the transformation of his community.
Cubana Chief Priest urged all sons and daughters of Orsu to return home in December and join hands to rebuild, declaring:
“Forward ever, backward never. Orsu must grow, Imo must blow, Naija must glow. It’s light over darkness.”
