An American traveller has sparked reactions online after publicly complaining about his experience while visiting Nigeria.
In a video post, the man questioned what he described as repeated requests for cash during his movement around the country.
He wrote:
“Nigerians, is your entire country set up to extort people? Coming in and out of airports, I was asked for cash at least 10 times. Many roads have checkpoints, but are they really for security or just points to extort travelers?”
