Social media activist VeryDarkMan has lashed out at Nigeria’s security leadership following the emergence of a disturbing video allegedly showing armed bandits advertising sophisticated weapons, including AK-47 rifles and anti-aircraft guns, to militias in a Nigerian community.

In an emotional outburst directed at the Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, the controversial commentator expressed deep frustration over the worsening insecurity across the country.

“Words cannot express my disappointment in you. I had so much hope that when you were made Minister of Defence, you would end the insecurity of this country. Sadly, it is becoming worse every day,” he wrote.

VeryDarkMan lamented the rising killings in rural communities, particularly among farmers, women, and children, questioning what hope remains for ordinary Nigerians.

“Farmers are dying, children are dying, mothers are dying and yet nothing is being done. You keep giving us false hope every day. When does this all stop?” he asked.

His reaction follows a viral video allegedly showing suspected bandits boldly displaying and advertising high-grade weapons, including AK-47 rifles and anti-aircraft arms, reportedly for sale to armed groups operating within parts of the country. The footage has sparked widespread outrage online, with many Nigerians demanding urgent and decisive military action.
