Senior lawyer and President of CITY LAWYER Magazine, one of Nigeria’s foremost legal blogs, Mr. Emeka Nwadioke, will on April 7, 2026 (Easter Tuesday) lay his beloved mother, Dame Roseline Chinwe Nwadioke to rest.
It is recalled that Dame Nwadioke passed on recently at the Federal Medical Centre, Lagos, after a brief illness. She was aged 95 years.
According to obsequies issued by the family, Service of Songs will be held for the departed on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 5 pm at Saint Augustine’s Anglican Church, Anthony Village, Lagos.
The Anambra State leg of the obsequies will kick off with Service of Songs on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 5 pm at her family compound at Umuazu Village, Nise, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The body will depart Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital Mortuary, Awka, on 7th April, 2026, for a brief stop-over at her father’s compound at Ngodo, Nise, followed by lying-in-state at her family compound in Umuazu, Nise.
Funeral Service will hold on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Saint John’s Anglican Church, Nise. Time is 10 am. This will be followed by private interment at her family compound. Condolence visits and entertainment of guests will hold afterwards at Umuazu Civic Centre, Nise.
