A former Governor of Kano State and leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is expected to formally join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Monday.
This development was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Habibu Mohammed in a press release made available to newsmen in Kano.
He said the anticipated defection comes after weeks of consultations involving Kwankwaso, and members of his Kwankwasiyya movement, and top ADC figures.
The spokesperson said the decision was taken in the best interest of the movement, the state and nation at large.
