German manager Hansi Flick has made his ambitions crystal clear, declaring that winning the UEFA Champions League remains the ultimate objective for his team.
Speaking with strong conviction, Flick emphasized that Europe’s elite competition represents the pinnacle of club football, describing it as the shared dream of players, coaches, and fans alike. According to him, the desire to compete at the highest level is what drives the team’s intensity and commitment on the pitch.
“I believe that the dream of every player, every club, every fan, and every coach is to win the Champions League and to play in it… that’s why we’re here,” Flick said.
He noted that the team’s hunger is evident in their performances, with players consistently giving more than their maximum effort in matches. Flick stressed that while domestic league duties remain important as part of their daily responsibilities, the bigger picture is firmly focused on European success.
“For me, it’s clear: we have to do our daily work, and that’s the league, but in the end, the most important thing is to win the Champions League. That’s our goal,” he added.
