A senior Nigerian Army officer, Colonel I.A. Mohammed, has reportedly been killed in an IED explosion in Monguno, Borno State.
According to emerging details, the incident occurred on the night of April 12, 2026, as the officer was leading reinforcements to troops under attack in the area.
