Former Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, has reportedly failed to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Jigawa North East Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to credible political sources, the APC primary outcome did not favour Babandede, effectively ending his bid to fly the party’s flag for the senatorial contest.
