Dave Umahi Finally Reacts to Adams Oshiomhole’s Criticism, Says He Won’t Debate His Senior

Umahi and Oshiomhole

Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has responded to recent remarks by Senator Adams Oshiomhole, saying he has no intention of debating the former Edo State governor but is open to reasoning with him.

Reacting to Oshiomhole’s criticism that he needs guidance and should focus on maintaining existing roads instead of proposing new ones, Umahi also addressed reactions from supporters of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate.

Obidients are insulting me, but I enjoyed the insults. Some people want me to debate with Senator Adams Oshiomhole. I can’t debate with him, but I can reason with him. He is my senior in governance and also my senior in the legislature,” Umahi said.

The Minister emphasized his respect for Oshiomhole, describing him as a senior figure in both governance and legislative experience, while maintaining that constructive dialogue is preferable to public confrontation.
