TikToker Al-Amin G-Fresh has criticized Kannywood actor Adam Zango after the actor revealed that his latest marriage ended because he and his wife discovered after their wedding that they had incompatible AS genotypes.
Zango had shared a video showing his former wife leaving his home, stressing that the separation was amicable and urging fans not to spread false rumours about him.
Reacting to the revelation, G-Fresh and his wife said genotype testing is a compulsory part of premarital medical screening and should never be overlooked. According to them, Zango’s explanation only exposed him to ridicule and made him the subject of public mockery.
“You shouldn’t be so uninformed as to conduct only an HIV test without getting a comprehensive medical checkup, including a genotype test, before marriage,” G-Fresh said.
The couple also argued that the matter should never have been brought to social media, insisting that instead of serving as an inspiration, it only invited unnecessary criticism.
“You owed no one an explanation; you should have kept quiet,” they stated.
G-Fresh further added that if he were to enter another relationship, his partner would have to undergo a full medical examination before anything else.
Although rumours have occasionally claimed that Zango has been married more than six times and that this latest divorce would be his seventh, available public records and media reports confirm that he has had six official marriages since 2006, all of which have ended in divorce.
Across those marriages, Adam Zango is reportedly the father of seven children six boys and one girl.
