Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has raised an alarm about a new scam targeting unsuspecting individuals in public spaces.
In a recent social media post, Tonto described the scam, warning Nigerians to be cautious. According to her, the fraud involves a person approaching someone in public, crying and accusing them of making a fake transfer for an alleged purchase. The commotion attracts a crowd, escalating tensions and pressuring the victim to either pay or risk facing mob action.
