
Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has opened up about her first encounter with veteran actor Pete Edochie, revealing that the legendary actor’s personality made a lasting impression on her.
Ovire shared her experience while reacting to a post by Yul Edochie, describing his father as a man whose presence commands both respect and tranquillity.
The actress said she noticed something unique about Pete Edochie from the moment she met him, even before he uttered a word.
According to her, the veteran actor possessed a rare combination of strength, warmth and calmness that immediately made her feel comfortable in his presence.
She wrote, “Your dad carries so much grace. From the very first day I met him, I felt it. His aura was so calm and powerful; it was almost as though a gentle wind of peace had entered the room with him.”
Ovire added that the actor’s presence was “warm, peaceful and comforting,” stressing that his personality communicated something special without the need for words.
Her remarks have drawn attention to the personality of the veteran actor beyond his celebrated career on screen, highlighting the respect and admiration he continues to command among younger generations of Nollywood actors.
