ADC Fires Warning Ahead of 2027, Says APC Won’t Be Allowed to Steal Votes

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared that it is preparing for what it describes as a potentially intense battle against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the ADC is confident of defeating the APC if the election is conducted under free and fair conditions.

Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV, Abdullahi said the party’s major concern was not its ability to win but whether the electoral process would be free from manipulation.

According to him, the ADC has already begun preparations to protect its votes and ensure that the outcome of the election reflects the choice of Nigerians.

> “We will police our votes. We know the things that we will do. We won’t tell you, but we are ready for them,” he said.

Abdullahi further alleged that the ruling party could attempt to manipulate the electoral process, insisting that the ADC would not be caught off guard.

He maintained that the party was prepared for whatever challenges might arise during the election, adding that the ADC would approach the 2027 contest with caution.

The ADC’s comments come as political parties intensify mobilisation and coalition-building ahead of the 2027 elections, with the ruling APC expected to face a stronger challenge from opposition forces.
