Nigerian skit maker and content creator Carterefe has reacted to singer Davido’s recent car acquisitions, joking that the Afrobeats star’s spending spree is making other artistes look like they are not working hard enough.
Carterefe’s comment came after reports emerged that two new Venom-built machines, reportedly worth more than $4 million, are on their way to Nigeria for Davido.
The singer is also reportedly expecting a customised Bugatti valued at about $15 million by February next year, further fuelling conversations about his growing collection of luxury automobiles.
Reacting to the reports, Carterefe expressed disbelief at the pace at which Davido has allegedly been purchasing cars.
“The way Davido has been buying cars lately, almost every day this month like a thi£f, he makes other artistes look like they’re not working. In my next life, God please let my father be rich,” he said.
