DigifyPro Nigeria has churned out its second batch of digital marketing trainees who are to embark on three months internship in various firms within the country.
The training, which was in partnership with Facebook cuts across practical hands-on experience, live briefs workshops/presentations, topics to include, vocational and workplace skills; agency processes, customer care, client services; digital marketing among others.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony in Lagos, the Program Director, DigifyPro Nigeria, Mrs. Florence Olumodimu, said the success stories recorded from the previous batch has been tremendous.
“We are excited to have successfully started and completed the first and second cohorts of DigifyPro in Nigeria in 2018, an endeavor that will help contribute to closing the digital skills gap in the industry,” she said.
Mrs Olumodimu said the programme has afforded the participants the opportunity to have a focused career.Facebook’s Public Policy Program Lead, Sub-Saharan, Africa, Sherry Dzinoreva, harped on the importance of the programme to Facebook as it was aimed to partner with local companies to create a bigger pool for digital marketing experts.
She said the program will create pipelines of jobs for talented digital marketing individual that are job ready and expanding the curriculum for which they are been trained.
