Businesswoman Ehi Ogbebor has offered fresh insight into her past relationship with Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, describing the controversial transport union figure as a calm, caring and generous man.
Speaking on the Nevon Podcast, Ogbebor said her experience with MC Oluomo changed her perception of generosity and taught her to give in ways that would make a meaningful difference to recipients.
According to her, MC Oluomo was particularly generous to people around him, including gatekeepers and street boys, whom she said he sometimes gave as much as ₦100,000 and ₦200,000 respectively.
She explained that his generosity was not simply about the amount of money involved but about showing genuine care for people.
Ogbebor also recalled that during their relationship, MC Oluomo would reportedly visit her home in a Hilux vehicle with provisions, including goats and snails.
“He is calm, he is kind. MC Oluomo is the one that taught me that if you want to dash a gate man money, don’t dash him ₦10k, ₦5k, give something that would mean something to that person,” she said.
She further addressed criticism over her decision to date MC Oluomo despite his marital status.
Ogbebor acknowledged that he was married at the time but said she did not intend to deny their relationship, pointing to his Muslim faith and the Islamic allowance for multiple wives as part of her perspective.
“Yes, he is married but he is a Muslim so he is entitled to more wives. So I won’t tame it that I dated a married man,” she stated.
