Even a Corpse Will Defeat Tinubu in 2027 — Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Buba Galadima, has stirred controversy after claiming that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would lose the 2027 presidential election under any circumstance.

Speaking during the ADC convention in Abuja, Galadima declared that even if “a corpse in a coffin” were to contest against Tinubu, it would still win the election.

He attributed his statement to what he described as poor performance by the current administration and growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians, insisting that the ruling party is losing public support.

Galadima also accused the government of attempting to weaken opposition parties, including the PDP, SDP, NNPP, Labour Party, and ADC, while urging opposition members to remain resilient and united ahead of 2027.

His remarks have sparked mixed reactions across political circles, with supporters of the opposition seeing it as a reflection of public sentiment, while critics describe it as exaggerated political rhetoric.

The statement adds to the growing political tension as alignments and campaigns begin to shape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
