Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has reignited his long-running disagreement with music superstar Wizkid after publicly challenging him to a boxing match.
Speaking during an interview with Yanga 89.9 FM, Carter said he would willingly enter the ring with Wizkid without demanding payment, while suggesting that organisers could offer the singer as much as $1 million to participate.
Carter expressed strong confidence in his ability to defeat Wizkid, saying he would accept the proposed bout even without a fight purse.
The streamer also dismissed the idea that Wizkid was the only “national treasure” between them, insisting that his own contribution to Nigerian entertainment should not be underestimated.
Carter’s comments also revisited the fallout between both entertainers, particularly their collaboration and subsequent disagreements.
He argued that their joint success benefited both parties, claiming that a song he released involving Wizkid reached number one but that he did not receive what he considered adequate acknowledgment from the singer.
According to Carter, the perceived lack of recognition contributed to his decision to stop acknowledging Wizkid.
The streamer further claimed that Wizkid’s alleged marijuana use would give him an advantage in the proposed boxing contest.
While there is currently no indication that Wizkid has accepted the challenge, Carter’s remarks have once again placed their strained relationship in the spotlight.
The proposed celebrity boxing bout, if it ever materialises, would turn their long-running verbal exchanges into a physical entertainment spectacle, potentially attracting significant attention from fans of both personalities.
