Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has publicly declared his support for Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election, while raising concerns about what he described as the former Anambra governor’s “overly modest public image.”
In a statement that has since sparked reactions online, Fayose said he admires Obi and intends to vote for him, but questioned his habit of carrying his own bags without aides.
“I love Peter Obi so much and I’m going to vote for him, but the part I don’t understand is why he’s carrying his bags by himself. He should allow people carry his bags for him,” Fayose said.
