Morocco on Thursday announced 81 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number in the North African country to 8,003.
Meanwhile, 329 more people have recovered from the disease, taking the tally of recoveries to 7,195, Mouad Mrabet, coordinator of the Moroccan Centre for Public Health, said at a press briefing.
The country reported two more deaths on Thursday, bringing the death toll to 208.
The death rate of coronavirus stabilizes at 2.6 percent, while the recovery rate is continuing its rise to 90 percent, he added.
