A viral video circulating online has captured Nigerian Army troops under Operation Hadin Kai engaged in a fierce gun battle with suspected terrorists in Borno State.
The footage, which surfaced on Friday, shows heavily armed soldiers exchanging gunfire with insurgents during what appears to be a coordinated military operation in one of the state’s troubled areas.
In the video, sustained gunshots can be heard as troops advance against the terrorists while maintaining strategic positions amid the intense confrontation. The exact location and date of the operation have not yet been officially confirmed.
Operation Hadin Kai, the military’s counterinsurgency campaign in the North-East, has continued to conduct offensives against terrorist groups operating in Borno and neighboring states.
