Popular Nigerian social media influencer, Tunde Ednut, has publicly thrown his weight behind Peter Obi following reports of the former Labour Party presidential candidate’s alignment with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a strongly worded post that has since gone viral, Ednut expressed excitement over the political development, declaring, “Let’s goooooooooooo!!! OBI OR NOTHING!!!” while emphasizing what he described as the need for equity in Nigeria’s leadership.
The influencer further stated that it is time for an Igbo man to emerge as President of Nigeria, noting that such a move would promote fairness, unity, and national balance. According to him, allowing different regions to lead is key to restoring stability and sanity in the country’s political system.
