Governor Yahaya Bello has denied reports there are plans by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disqualify him from participating in the forthcoming governorship primary over alleged double registration of Permanent voters’ cards (pvc).
While insisting that he didn’t engage in double registration, the governor in a statement by Kingsley Fanwo, his Director-General on Media and Publicity said he is the busiest aspirant in the state at the moment as he is combining governance with his campaign for another term in office.
“We are not aware of such and we don’t even work on rumours. The Governor is the busiest aspirant now because he is combining governance with his aspiration for a second term in Office”.
“So we have no time to spare for rumours. APC knows who can win the Governorship election for them and the delegates will decide right.
“The Governor has made it clear that he didn’t engage in double registration and that ends the story. ” he said.
