Chief Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been honored as the Minister of the Year 2024 at the ThisDay Newspapers and Arise News 30th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Night. Wike, known for his impactful leadership and dedication to public service, received the award amidst loud ovation. He was accompanied to the ceremony by his wife, Hon. Justice Eberechi Nyesom Wike, as well as former governors Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Samuel Ortom (Benue), among other dignitaries.
