Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has announced a change to his birthday celebration date, moving it from November 18 to November 30.
In a message addressed to family, friends, and fans, the artist stated that November 18 will no longer be recognized as his celebration day, adding that he will not be accepting messages or gifts on that date going forward. He described the decision as personal and thanked supporters for their understanding.
The development comes amid the lingering rift between Mr P and his twin brother Paul Okoye, with whom he previously formed the iconic music duo P-Square. The brothers have had a history of public disagreements, leading to multiple splits and reconciliations over the years.
While Mr P did not directly link the date change to the dispute, fans have speculated that the move may be connected to ongoing tensions within the family.
