Popular Nigerian content creator and TikTok streamer Peller has opened up about why his relationship with his top gifter, known as Mafia, reportedly became strained.
Speaking during a TikTok livestream on Wednesday morning, Peller revealed that he introduced his friend, Jo Black, to Mafia after the supporter expressed interest in working with the musician.
According to Peller, Jo Black charged Mafia $12,000 to record a song. However, after the track was released, it was reportedly mass-reported by some people, leading to issues with its distribution. Peller claimed that Mafia was later asked to pay an additional $10,000 to promote the song.
Peller said he was unaware of the arrangement and only learned about the situation afterward. He explained that Mafia believed he had orchestrated the deal, leaving him feeling set up.
As a result, Peller said Mafia has since withdrawn the same level of love and financial support he previously showed during his TikTok livestreams.
