Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is currently on remand in a United Kingdom prison, according to UK-based Nigerian media personality Oluomo.
Oluomo, who confirmed the reports, disclosed that Poco Lee’s next court appearance is scheduled for the second week of September. He is expected to appear for a plea hearing, where he would typically indicate whether he is pleading guilty or not guilty to the alleged offence.
According to Oluomo, he will also attend the proceedings as part of his support for members of the Nigerian community in the UK.
He explained that supporting Nigerians facing difficult circumstances is something he regularly does, including visiting some members of the community who are currently in prison.
“It is important that we allow the legal process to take its course. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” Oluomo stated.
