Police Arrest Two Over Bachama–Tsobo Killings in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of three Tsobo women during the recent Bachama–Tsobo communal violence in Lamurde Local Government Area of the state.

Sources told Akelicious that the suspects were arrested at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday in Tingno area of Lamurde LGA, following actionable intelligence.

The suspects were identified as William Joshua, 30, and Ezekiel Luka, 23, both males and natives of Tingno, of Bachama extraction.

According to the police, the arrest was linked to the killing of three Tsobo women reported on Friday during the renewed crisis.

“Exhibits recovered from the suspects include one AK-47 magazine loaded with 29 rounds of live ammunition, one machete, and the sum of N90,000 cash,” a police source said.

The sources added that the suspects were currently providing useful information to investigators, while a detailed investigation was ongoing at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The police reassured residents of the affected communities of their commitment to restoring peace and bringing all perpetrators of the violence to justice.
