First Lady, Remi Tinubu Honoured with Chieftaincy Title “Ugosimba 1 of Enugu”

Senator Remi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Tinubu, was on Tuesday granted the chieftaincy title of “Ugosimba 1 of Enugu” in recognition of her work in advancing women’s empowerment and promoting social development throughout Nigeria.

The ceremony took place during her official visit to Enugu, where she was honoured by the state’s traditional leaders.

The title, which translates to “Jewel of Empowerment” in Igbo, was given to the First Lady for her outstanding contributions to improving the lives of women and vulnerable groups across the country.

The event was attended by political figures, traditional rulers, women’s groups, and members of the public who came together to celebrate her impactful work.

The chieftaincy title represents a significant acknowledgment of her efforts to create positive change for women in Nigeria.
