Music superstar Shakira has reportedly invited Uganda’s popular dance group, Ghetto Kids, to perform with her during the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final scheduled to hold on July 19 in New Jersey, United States.

According to reports circulating online, the invitation came after Shakira watched the group’s viral dance performance to her song “Dai Dai,” which is said to be one of the official songs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Ghetto Kids reportedly responded with a celebratory video expressing excitement and gratitude to the singer for the opportunity to share the global stage with her during one of football’s biggest events.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, with the final expected to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
