Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, on Monday, embarked on pre-contract inspection of roads in G.R.A, Enugu.
While inspecting Akpabio Street, off Imoke Street, Gov. Ugwuanyi received commendations from the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, who was amazed to stumble on the governor when he was trekking down the street with a team of engineers from the State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure led by the Commissioner, Engr. Greg Nnaji and some residents of the neighbourhood led by Dr. Tony Okam
.Chief Nwodo, who could not hide his joy, told Gov. Ugwuanyi that “this neighbourhood supports you because you mean well for Enugu people”, adding: “Your humility of walking round streets, trying to see the state of roads and drainage is highly commendable. We are grateful, Your Excellency”.
