Controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has reacted strongly to the alleged disappearance and detention of an individual popularly known as “Justice Crack,” claiming he may currently be in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
In a statement circulating online, VeryDarkMan questioned the legality and transparency surrounding the situation, arguing that the Nigerian Army does not possess the constitutional authority to prosecute civilians. According to him, any arrest made by the military must ultimately lead to a handover to recognized civilian law enforcement agencies such as the police, EFCC, or DSS.
He further reasoned that if Justice Crack had been transferred to the police, the development would likely have been made public by now. Similarly, he dismissed the possibility of EFCC involvement, stating that the alleged offense does not appear to be financial in nature.
Based on these assumptions, VeryDarkMan concluded that Justice Crack is “definitely” in DSS custody and demanded clarity from the agency.
He also raised concerns about the potential grounds for detention, questioning whether authorities intend to label the matter as a treasonable offense.
“We will be writing to the DSS to request his immediate release or ensure he is properly charged to court,” he stated.
