Controversial Nigerian entertainer Speed Darlington has openly criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the current economic situation in the country, questioning his qualification for a second term in office.
In a strongly worded statement, the artist expressed dissatisfaction with the administration’s policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, which he claimed has worsened the cost of living and created room for exploitation by business owners.
He further lamented the rising financial burden on citizens, alleging that excessive deductions and taxes are leaving many Nigerians struggling to survive. According to him, the government’s borrowing practices could lead to long-term hardship for the populace.
Speed Darlington also took aim at supporters of the president, suggesting that many are disconnected from the realities faced by ordinary Nigerians.
