Founder of the Safe City Volunteer Foundation, Harrison Gwamnishu, has urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and continue supporting security efforts to sustain peace across Delta communities.

Speaking on the state of security, Gwamnishu commended the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, the Special Anti-Kidnapping and Cybercrime Unit of the Delta State Police Command, the NFSS, Vigilante Groups, Anti-Cult Units, and the Safe City Volunteer team for their tireless sacrifices in combating crime.

According to him, their combined efforts have drastically reduced cases of kidnapping and violent crimes within communities that were once plagued with daily security threats.

However, Gwamnishu stressed that peace can only be sustained through consistent support. He highlighted the need for logistics, mobility, communication tools, welfare for volunteers, and timely intelligence to ensure swift and effective responses to threats.

“Every naira and every piece of information you contribute strengthens the shield protecting our people,” he said, assuring residents that all shared intelligence is treated with utmost confidentiality.

He further emphasized that security is a continuous process that demands unity, vigilance, and resources.

“Together, we will not allow crime to reclaim our communities,” Gwamnishu declared, while extending gratitude to Nigerians, Deltans, and Ndi Anioma for their trust and cooperation.
