Ebele Iyiegbu, wife of popular businessman Obi Cubana, has finally broken her silence following recent online speculations surrounding the next-of-kin saga involving her family.
In a statement shared via social media, Ebele addressed the rumors and backlash with grace and subtle sarcasm, pointing out the absurdity of internet culture.
“Only on social media do you encounter people sharing your life story as if they know you personally,” she wrote. “Only here will you learn about your own history from strangers who’ve never even met you… and only on social media will you see people blaming wives and mothers because of their own misguided thoughts and evil ideas.”
Despite the swirling controversy, Ebele remained focused on a more joyful celebration—the 50th birthday of her husband, Obi Cubana, also known as Okpataozueora. She praised the milestone with pride, saying, “Like I said before, the entire month of April is dedicated to you, babe.”
She also expressed gratitude to @tsl_thrusamslens for capturing moments from the lavish birthday celebration, where she presented “50 Igbo titles that describe the personality of @obi_cubana,” admitting that curating the list was no small feat.
