Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State have adopted Sharafadeen Alli as the party’s consensus governorship candidate ahead of the forthcoming primary election.
The adoption took place during a stakeholders’ gathering held at the Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall in Ibadan.
Party leaders and supporters from across the state reaffirmed their commitment to unity and pledged continued support for the APC ahead of the next governorship election in the state.
Speaking after the endorsement, Alli expressed appreciation to party stakeholders and supporters for their confidence in his candidacy, stating that the party remains committed to providing purposeful leadership and sustainable development for the people of Oyo State.
