The Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs. Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, has confirmed that the young boy seen in the viral abuse video is now safe and receiving medical treatment under protective care.
According to the Commissioner, her team, alongside the Obosi community women leader, has visited the child and is closely monitoring his welfare.
“I want to thank the good caring people of Anambra State for bringing this case to our notice. The boy is receiving treatment now. The offenders must face the law for this barbaric act. If you see something, please say something.”
